Create account #
Open https://cloud.newtec-audio.com/ and register with your e-mail address and a password of your choice. Then click on “Sign Up”. Confirm the terms of use and you will receive an e-mail to validate your address. If the e-mail is not in your inbox, please check your junk or spam folder.
Log in with your access data and you will be taken to the home screen.
Enter your personal data. To do this, click on your profile at the top right and fill in the relevant fields.
Register devices #
Add a new device to your cloud account by clicking on “Add device” in the drop-down menu.
Select the appropriate device (SMARTplayer or SMARTstreamer) and copy the displayed “Registration code”.
Click on “Save”. The new device is now displayed in the cloud and is ready for connection.
Open the SMART App and select the device you want to register in the cloud. In the settings view under General > Advanced, go to “Cloud Register” and paste the registration code you copied earlier.
Click on “Connect”. The device is now registered in the cloud and the successful connection status is shown in the cloud status display.
Important note: Please note that it can take up to 3 minutes for the devices to be successfully registered and connected in the cloud.

Create groups #
In the home view of the cloud, click on “Add Group” in the drop-down menu.
Name the group and save. The created group now appears in the top level of the home view.
To create a subgroup, select the previously created group and repeat the process.
To assign a device (SMARTplayer or SMARTstreamer) to a group, go to edit mode via the drop-down menu. Click on “Move” for the device, select the desired group and save. After exiting edit mode, the device is displayed in the assigned group.
In edit mode, you can also change the assigned group names or delete groups and devices.
