The remote control operates SMARTspeakers directly. The table explains the buttons documented in the original illustration. Point the remote at the device whose settings you want to change.
Buttons and functions #

The device illustration does not assign a function to the remaining buttons.
How to use the remote control #
The volume buttons control the device you point at. The down arrow sets its volume to 80%; it does not end pairing on the SMARTplayer when used here. Follow the setup guide to connect the device.
If the device does not respond as expected, compare its LEDs with the status guide and check the setup instructions.
Restore factory settings #
A factory reset restores the default settings. Use it only when you intend to set up the device again afterwards.
The original illustration gives the reset button sequence as POWER → MUTE → POWER. Then follow the setup guide.
