Connect the power cable #
Connect the SMARTplayer to the mains using the power adapter supplied. Then connect the desired audio source (IN).
Activate pairing #
Make sure that the POWER LED on the SMARTplayer flashes green and all speakers emit a detection tone. Then point the remote control at the SMARTplayer and press “CH up” (up arrow). The CONNECT LED starts to flash blue and the speakers within range automatically connect to the SMARTplayer.
End pairing #
As soon as all speakers no longer emit a detection tone, end the pairing process by pointing the remote control at the SMARTplayer and pressing the “CH down” button (down arrow). The CONNECT LED will then light up solid blue, confirming that the speakers are successfully connected.
Important note: The SMARTplayer ends the pairing process automatically after about 2 hours, unless it has been stopped manually beforehand using the remote control. If it takes longer to install the SMART speakers, simply activate pairing mode again using the remote control.
Start music playback #
Start the music playback. The AUDIO LED lights up orange and the music is transmitted to all paired speakers. You can adjust the volume either directly on the audio source or with the remote control by pointing it at the SMARTplayer and pressing Vol+/-.

Setting up multiple SMARTplayers #
First connect SMARTplayer 1, connect it to an audio source and start playback. Set SMARTplayer 1 to pairing mode and mount ONLY the speakers that are to be connected to it. As soon as the speakers are successfully connected, exit pairing mode. Then repeat the process with SMARTplayer 2 and the corresponding speakers, etc.
Important note: Leave the already set up SMARTplayer 1 switched on and in normal mode (CONNECT LED lights up blue continuously) while commissioning SMARTplayer 2. Never switch off SMARTplayer 1 to prevent a speaker that does not reach SMARTplayer 1 for a longer period of time from accidentally connecting to SMARTplayer 2, which is currently in pairing mode.
