Connect speakers / amplifier #
Connect the passive speakers and/or amplifier that you want to integrate into the SMART Audio system to the speaker output or mono line audio output of the SMARTconnect.
Important note: Pay attention to the maximum output power of 40 watts at 4 ohms.
Connect power cable #
Connect the SMARTconnect to the mains using the power adapter supplied. The device is automatically in pairing mode (CONNECT LED flashes blue and the connected speakers emit a detection tone).
Activate pairing #
Point the remote control at the SMARTplayer and press “CH up” (up arrow). The CONNECT LED on the SMARTplayer starts to flash blue and the SMARTconnect automatically connects to the SMARTplayer.
End pairing #
As soon as all speakers no longer emit a detection tone and the CONNECT LED on the SMARTconnect lights up blue continuously, end the pairing process by pointing the remote control at the SMARTplayer and pressing the “CH down” button (arrow down). The CONNECT LED will then also light up solid blue.
Important note: The SMARTplayer ends the pairing process automatically after about 2 hours unless it has been stopped manually beforehand using the remote control.
Start music playback #
Start the music playback. The AUDIO LED lights up orange and the music is transmitted to all paired speakers. You can adjust the volume either directly on the audio source or with the remote control by pressing Vol+/-.
