Table of Contents
The LEDs on SMARTstreamer indicate operating status, audio reception and connection. Check both the colour and the flashing pattern. The tables explain the existing status guide and suggest the next check.
POWER – green: operating status #
| Indicator | Meaning | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Off | No power or processor not running. | Check the power supply and connection. |
| Flashing | SMARTstreamer is ready for operation. | No action needed if playback works as expected. |
| Steady | Processor blocked. | Contact support if this state persists. |
AUDIO – orange/red: audio reception #
| Indicator | Meaning | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Off | No audio, playback paused or audio signal too quiet. | Check playback, the selected source and the source output volume. |
| Flashing | No audio source selected (Source: STOP). | Select the intended source in the SMART App and start playback. |
| Steady | Audio is being received. | If no sound is audible, check volume and the connection to the playback device. |
| Red light | Muted (device off). | Check device status and mute settings. |
CONNECT – blue: connection #
| Indicator | Meaning | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Off | No network connection according to the status guide; exception: receiver mode with Network Output disabled. | Check the network cable and intended operating mode; see the note below. |
| Flashing | Not specified in the existing status guide. | Check the other LEDs and the setup guide for context. |
| Steady | Connected to the network. | No action needed if playback works as expected. |
SMARTstreamer receiver mode: the audio distribution guide instructs you to disable Network Output. This turns off the CONNECT LED. In this mode, an unlit CONNECT LED alone does not prove a network fault.
